CEO SHOOTOUT A SUCCESS THANKS TO OUR GREAT PARTNERS
The Charity Bounce inaugural CEO Shoot Out hit the inner city courts of KGV and the stylish Morrison Bar and Oyster Room on Tuesday September the 6th, 2016.
The FUNdraiser boasted a 3 x 3 round robin tournament with sudden death scoring targets followed by a smooth networking lunch, all in the name of impacting the lives of disadvantaged Indigenous and Culturally Diverse young people in Australia.
The CEO Shoot Out provided an opportunity for Australia’s top bosses, including CEOs, Managing Directors and Senior Business Leaders and their teams to get involved with making a difference with today’s young people all in the name of basketball. They were joined by NBL legend Steve Carfino who still showed he had ‘the goods’ on the court.
Here at Charity Bounce we want to extend a BIG thank you to our corporates who joined us and the partners of Moet et Chandon, Raw C Coconut Water and The Morrison and who could forget our very cool Indigenous DJ, Wiradjuri Platinum Mixerz. Your support allows us to inspire positive change for disadvantaged young people through our range of programs. This is our first supporter event after recently launching Charity Bounce (with the first ever Jr NBA clinic in Sydney) only 8 weeks ago. Within that time we have already achieved great outcomes such as job placements for the disadvantaged groups we work with more placements soon to come.
CEO Ian Heininger extended a special thanks to celebrity Chef Sean Connolly who joined Charity Bounce for the day hosting our lunch and even playing on court. “Thanks to Sean, who is a personal favourite of mine, for passionately getting involved to help create the Eat Strong Play Strong project with us. He has been making a huge difference for the young people who get to sample his on-court menus on our pop-up kitchens under the rim.”
We look forward to working closely with our partners who are now stepping on board. This is the start of many years ahead together!
Your friends at Charity Bounce.
