With nearly 40% of all program participants being young women, we aim to provide opportunities for engagement with program activiteis .Our focus is to ensure we achieve positive outcomes for young women, including in through elite sports including the following:

• All Stars female training and tournament programs.
• Womens only flagship events with female athlete role models.
• Ambassador and athlete engagement program targeting professional female role models.
• Female youth coach development program.
• Womens career and mentoring support.

 

U18 WOMENS USA TRIP – JULY 2023

The All Stars initiative consists of a 2023 elite basketball and leadership programs for young women, aiming to provide an experience of a lifetime for an elite U18 women’s team to compete in an elite level tournament in the USA with potential to explore US college scholarship opportunities.  The program will provide industry leading and inspiring tour experiences that will include ‘out of reach’ basketball opportunities with elite coaching and program partners.

 

Bounce are working with our partners to deliver a USA Premier Women’s Tournament experience for young women to compete in the upcoming Run 4 Roses Tournament (6th-11th July 2023 in Louisville, Kentucky). This is the premier women’s event in the USA and attended by Div 1 coaches from across the country. In addition, the trip will include a New York visit.

 

The program includes elite level coaching with access to US College insiders and a coaching panel including:

• former Division 1 Women’s College Coach- Chrissy Roberts
• former Professional coach and former Harlem Globetrotter Tracy Williams
• Sydney Kings assistant coach Fleur McIntyre
• elite Australian coaches including Renae Garlepp, Lauren King and others.

 

In addition to the tournament the trip will include some unique opportunities for players including:

• Players will receive a custom basketball kit in partnership with Under Armour
• Players will access US College insider sessions with Athletic Directors and Division 1 women’s coaches
• Players will be provided with money can’t buy experiences in New York including access to elite basketball experiences within the Bounce network.

The program is supported by

Hoyts, Under Armour, Sportslink Travel, Darrell Lea, Sydney Uni Sports and Fitness, Skouta, and Norths Basketball Association.

 

The Stand Tall programs include both on and off court activities including basketball skills & drills and health & well being and active lifestyle education. The program provides players with the opportunity to train with elite basketballers and skilled coaches, providing guidance on the importance of attitude, education, and healthy lifestyles. Stand Tall program participants enjoy inspiring and engaging activities and hear inspirational life messages delivered by basketball and industry role models.
