Focus Camps September 2022
School holidays are back and so are our Focus Camps! Don’t miss out as we will also be having Australian Professional Basketball Player Laura Hodges joining us this month.
Laura started playing basketball at the age of 10 and then went on to take a scholarship at the A.I.S in Canberra at the age of 15. She was first announced in the Opals squad at the age of 17 and made her first Opals appearance at the age of 18 which was the 2002 World Cup in China.
Laura has represented Australia at 4 Olympic Games, 3 World Championships and 1 Commonwealth Games. During her career she lived in Europe and America playing a total of 10 years overseas and another 12 years playing for the Adelaide Lightning in the WNBL.
Our holiday camps are open for young men and women at Arncliffe Youth Centre on the 26th to 27th September from 9am to 12pm.
And ladies, we’ve got our Women’s Only Camp for you on the 28th September on the same time at the same venue.

About Charity Bounce
Charity Bounce is a not for profit organisation that exists to build resiliency and positive job futures for young people at -risk (12-24), using innovation through basketball to create ‘out of reach’ opportunities that inspire and motivate change. With a focus on Indigenous and culturally diverse communities, including newly arrived refugees, we aim to move young people toward a more positive future through the development of sports, education and employment focused social programs. The programs are delivered in partnership with sporting organisations, engaging professional athletes alongside our youth workers to motivate and inspire participants.
We have a 100% public donation model where private donors cover 100% of the management and administration expenses of Charity Bounce. These private donors invest into our long-term mission, our ability to scale as an organisation, and our commitment to using 100% of public donations for direct program delivery. You can donate and join the Starting 5 Network for around $5 a week.
