PARTNERSHIP WITH FUTUREYOU TO PROMOTE POSITIVE CAREER PATHWAYS
At Charity Bounce, we are excited to announce our official partnership with FutureYou, one of the fastest growing recruitment firms in Australia. This partnership is key to ensuring that young people can seamlessly transfer the employability -skills they learn on the basketball court through Charity Bounce programs into successful employment opportunities in their everyday lives.
FutureYou chose Charity Bounce to be an original partner in their foundation because of the common goal of changing the lives of young people — including Aboriginal, Torres Strait Islanders, and newly arriving refugees — by helping them increase their skills, overcome challenges and reach their full potential.
Our partnership with FutureYou has already allowed us to set up young people with amazing career mentors as part of our Rising Stars program, committed to seeing young people we place in jobs succeed in their careers as well as other areas in their lives. A group of mentors completed the Rising Stars Mentor training program with a cameo by NBL Legend Cal Bruton to share about the impact mentors had as he moved through his own life.
FutureYou also brings an expertise in the area of pre-employment, resume, and interview skills as well as career development pathways that will give young people in our programs every opportunity to succeed in building strong careers and becoming effective leaders in business and their community. Charity Bounce and FutureYou also share business connections for employment opportunities and partner through volunteer quarterly training workshops, monthly one-on-one mentoring, inspirational sessions and hosting corporate and fundraising functions.

Charity Bounce is a not for profit organisation that exists to inspire positive change to overcome disadvantage for individuals and communities. With a focus on Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islanders and Culturally Diverse communities, including newly arrived refugees we aim to move people toward a more positive future through the development of sports, the arts, health, education and employment focused social programs. The programs are delivered in partnership with professional athletes to motivate change and inspire.
