Leading our YOUth!
Inspiring positive change is the main driver for Charity Bounces Hoop Dreams program. Today our program linked arms with the National Aboriginal Sporting Chance Academy and the Sydney Kings to bring an afternoon of inspiring aboriginal youth to achieve greatness.
Motivating positive transformations Charity Bounce founder and CEO Ian Heininger says, “Everyone needs assistance at some point, whether that’s on the court or in life. But not everyone has a support network they can call on. Charity Bounce aims to be that team to these wonderful kids.”
Over 50 students from the Sydney region ventured out to the National Centre of Indigenous Excellence for a Leadership workshop hosted by Sydney Kings Player Julian Khazzouh and an afternoon of sport.
All of the activities from the Hoop Dreams leadership program have been designed to give the students the confidence and opportunity to be rising leaders in their community. Once the students completed the leadership theory component it was time to get our game on!
The young rising stars were broken up into groups of four where they learned some new moves from the team at NASCA and Sydney Kings Player Julian Khazzouh.
The program is designed to inspire children to “Play sport live healthy stay in school achieve your dreams. “ NASCA
We can’t wait to see you all again soon! Keep shining rising stars.
