Official Partnership – Larapinta Culture

Larapinta Culture and Charity Bounce partner to inspire positive change and promote Aboriginal enterprise.

Larapinta Culture is the only Aboriginal-owned and operated business offering cultural awareness trekking in the Alice Springs region. Charity Bounce are partnering to offer three-day experiences along spectacular sections of the Larapinta Trail to support Charity Bounce programs in Central Australia (NT). Walk the Larapinta trail and experience the breadth and depth of country and culture alongside the traditional custodians. With links to the local Arrente and Warlpiri clans, the Aboriginal guides bring the land and its traditions to life.

To launch the partnership, Charity Bounce will walk for an annual fundraising trek in May 2019. Limited places are available to be a part of this unique experience. Find out more about the trek and how you can register….

Charity Bounce CEO, Ian Heininger, stated “this partnership provides a great opportunity to promote positive outcomes not just for an Aboriginal owned business but for the entire community through the innovative partnership. We know it’s a relevant product for our network of corporate and individual supporters, delivered with authenticity, designed to achieve outcomes, all while inspiring positive change for everyone involved.”

Jungala Kris, one of the Lead Guides with more than 19 year’s experience in the tourism industry said “It’s great that Charity Bounce has been able to bring elite athletes to the region to give their time and share their talents to give back to grassroots, but just as important, sharing their knowledge of their trade to Aboriginal kids to motivate and inspire them into fields that could enhance their lives to bigger and better opportunities. These kids could become elite athletes themselves and contribute to the life cycle of opportunity for others and this is the contribution Charity Bounce delivers to the kids in Aboriginal communities.”

Charity Bounce have delivered programs in Central Australia, within the Nyewente, Ltyentye Apurte , and Ntaria Aboriginal communities in and around Alice Springs and the Mutijulu community in Uluru, on the court established ahead of the Rio Olympics by the Boomers national team, driven by NBA champion Patty Mills, the NBAPA and the ABA. Community initiatives will be taking place during May to coincide with the Annual fundraising trek.

The partnership with Larapinta Culture is intended to expand the reach across Central Australia through a high quality social enterprise initiative and delivery of a best practice community partnership model.
