Warrior Youth Stand Tall at Manly Beach

Warrior Youth Stand Tall at Manly Beach

An enduring partnership between Charity Bounce and Tribal Warrior provided some very fortunate indigenous young school students a chance to Stand Tall at Manly Beach yesterday.

Charity Bounce happily gave school students associated with Tribal Warrior an opportunity to slip on a wetsuit, wax a board and learn to surf thanks to Hurley and world champion surf legend Barton Lynch.

Dry land instruction of surf conditions, how to catch and ride a wave was the first call of the day followed by Barton Lynch and Hurley instructors joining the youth in the surf as they carved up their first waves.

The talented youth managed to Stand Tall in the surf, even riding waves all the way into the beach – brilliant work for the first-timers!

We would like to thank Hurley, Barton Lynch and Tribal Warrior for providing memorable moments with us, supporting local indigenous young people and allowing them to continue to grow in confidence and learn that anything is possible if you give it a chance.
