Woolloomooloo will be rockin’ & bouncin’ this Saturday
The Woolloomoolivin’ Christmas Block Party will be rockin’ & bouncin’ this Saturday with some of Australia’s best DJ’s, dancers, vocalists, visual and multimedia artists & indigenous community members & performers. The local event will feature free interactive dance, art, and DJ’ing workshops for youth as well as a basketball and healthy lifestyle clinic conducted by Charity Bounce.
This event focuses on connecting youth and families with local community service providers within a creative and supportive environment. There will be a celebration of urban culture in all of its forms recognising its impact on Australian multiculturalism as well as its role in facilitating social cohesion.
Charity Bounce is proud to be involved with the youth and community of Woolloomooloo and we look forward to encouraging everyone to join us on court as we present an interactive basketball and healthy eating program with our ambassadors, former NBL Rookie of the Year Eban Hyams and celebrity chef Sean Connolly.
Also joining us on the day will be players from the Sydney Uni Basketball Club who have kindly volunteered their time to support our program.
